Five ingredient choc chip cookies

Yummy chocolate chip cookies that only use 5 ingredients! They’ll make a great recipe to bake as the weather turns nasty and we cosy up for the winter


  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup oats (50g)
  • 1 tbsp nut or seed butter (40g)
  • 2 tbsp choc chips or cacao nibs (20g)
  • Squirt of honey and drop of vanilla essence (optional) .


  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • Baking tray




1 Preheat the oven to 170c (180c if not fan assisted)
2 Mash the banana till smooth 
3 Stir in the nut/seed butter
4 Mix in the rest of the ingredients, roll into small balls and place on a baking tray lined with parchment 
5 Slightly flatten the balls with the palm of your hand and then bake for 15 mins
