Delicious burgers with lots of extra nutrition packed it!
Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 1 small onion
- 1 medium courgette
- 1 small carrot
- 1 small apple
- 1/4 cup passata
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil for frying
Equipment
- Chopping board and knife
- Mixing bowl
- Frying pan
- Grater

Directions

Finely chop the onion and grate the courgette, carrot and apple

Place in a mixing bowl with the minced beef, passata, smoked paprika, balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt and pepper and mix thoroughly

Shape into burger patties and pop in the fridge for 5 mins

Heat a glug of olive oil in a frying pan ready for cooking

Fry the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side (until browned) then leave to cool a little

Serve in burger buns or pitta bread with your favourite toppings....our faves are lettuce, sliced tomato and avocado!
